Imagine if he died before Biden

[–] STUNT_GRANNY@lemmy.world 23 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Man, it's annoying seeing a headline starting with "Trump, 79" that doesn't end with "dead".

Maybe Kirk was one of his horcruxes

[–] opus86@lemmy.today 149 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Strokes took out both my parents. Come on stroke, you owe me. I'll undoubtedly go out the same way.

[–] hddsx@lemmy.ca 33 points 3 days ago

How did you manage hilarious and alarming in the same post lmao

[–] distantsounds@lemmy.world 153 points 3 days ago (5 children)

Relax, it’s just a stroke, guy

[–] mister_flibble@sh.itjust.works 35 points 2 days ago

"Doc says I can rub one out whenever I want!"

"No, Donald, he said you could have a stroke at any time"

[–] TropicalDingdong@lemmy.world 52 points 3 days ago (2 children)

A little stroke, as a treat.

[–] Rothe@piefed.social 11 points 3 days ago (1 children)

"Just a series of mini-strokes"

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 15 points 3 days ago

It won't negatively affect his cognitive functions. Those are long gone.

That's not so much a "call out" as a "hey, I think the president just had a stroke."

Fuck, I hope he had a stroke. I hope he's in a lot of pain too. Fucking arsehole cunt.

[–] just_another_person@lemmy.world 94 points 3 days ago (7 children)

High volume activity and movement after a stroke pretty much guarantees a secondary event. Just saying.

[–] Whostosay@sh.itjust.works 41 points 3 days ago

If you're going to get 3 billion people's hopes up, you better be fucking right

[–] Clent@lemmy.dbzer0.com 13 points 3 days ago

Don't tease me.

I read the headline earlier, with no picture, and thought yeah he always looks like a bloated orange monster that tracks.

Actually seeing the pictures all I can think of is the training I did on FAST, literally the F is for face drooping, that old mother fucker is having a god damned stroke...

[–] Rothe@piefed.social 40 points 3 days ago

It is even clearer in the video footage. A single picture could just be him grimacing in a single frame, but the video makes it clear that the droopy face is his actual resting face, which it wasn't before.

The hamberders are finally catching up to him.

[–] tpyo@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago (1 children)

The acronym FAST is good to know:
From https://www.mass.gov/info-details/stroke-signs-and-symptoms-act-fast

Face
Arms
Speech
Time

One last thing. It's ted-ed but here's a brain researcher who experienced and analyzed a stroke as one happened:
https://youtu.be/mYD7Y9CXeUw

Cw if you need: she displays and handles a real human brain and spinal cord

[–] DanWolfstone@leminal.space 2 points 2 days ago

Thank you for sharing that TED-ED talk, it was very impactful and insightful

[–] CircaV@lemmy.ca 9 points 3 days ago

TIA in progress.

[–] selkiesidhe@sh.itjust.works 16 points 2 days ago

I hope he sees all these types of posts where people are actively HOPING he had a stroke.

😊

Literally every 79 year old has already had a small stroke of some kind. TIA they are called. He’s on soooo many meds. Shits his pants daily.

Time to go to a locked facility grandpa

[–] W3dd1e@lemmy.zip 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I thought that video they put out with him speaking about Kirk was so weird and somehow wrong. Like AI or edited footage. I assumed it was because the man can’t string together coherent sentences but now I wonder if it could have been health related.

[–] Nomad@infosec.pub 4 points 2 days ago

Remember how they just kept using the emperors face in the equilibrium movie after his death? That's what's going on here.

[–] ininewcrow@lemmy.ca 25 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago) (2 children)

Hey! .... maybe the stroke might just mellow him out and he might not act so strange or say such terrible things

[–] halcyoncmdr@lemmy.world 57 points 3 days ago (16 children)

Evidence shows brain damage tends to make people even LESS empathetic and thus MORE fascist.

[–] nfreak@lemmy.ml 43 points 3 days ago

Case in point: Fetterman

Doubt he lives to the midterms.

[–] rustyfish@piefed.world 14 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago) (3 children)

We always have a bottle of Pinot Grigio sitting around so we can spontaneously celebrate.

If this mf dies, we need more wine.

[–] rmuk@feddit.uk 3 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Not even a joke: I know someone with a wine cellar and he has bottles set aside for certain people's death and there's a bottle for Trump in there.

C'mon man, just lay down and go off into that great night. You'll be at peace

[–] WizardofFrobozz@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 days ago

I think justice would be for him to develop locked-in syndrome and live another decade.
