I tend to disagree, we do need to look into the future, but we need to look into the past from time to time not to forget the lessons we learnt. Lately there's a lot of "looking into the future" with very little "looking into the past".
When you look forward without looking back, you forget where you come from, and thus forget where you should go. Looking where you are going without the knowledge of where you should go gets you somewhere, you might not go there though.
I agree, but I meant teaching a child to look ahead while litterally running has it's own kind of beauty
Yeah, that was my son. He would throw a fit until he was about 5 that WE caused him to run into the wall.
