I like Canada's version of Monarchy. The royals? Oh they are over there.
Oh you want to usurp executive powers? Al la Putin or Erdogan. Well that would require the executives signature. And you cant coerce them because, once again, they're over there.

I'm not a monarchist (anymore), but here in Brazil at least there's the argument that the only somewhat decent and competent leader that the country ever had was Emperor Pedro II.
The Western democratic monarchies are definitely functioning a lot more stable than whatever absolutist "god-given" presidency they are having over in the US.

No. The UK is a democratic monarchy, and they are in fact not very stable right now.
