Quick, clean civil wars are usually called a coup d’état. Quick purges of the leadership, replacement with people loyal to you, and then life continues on. If your coup fails and you have enougj resources to continue the fight then you get to civil war.

I thought they were the same thing except realtors were a specific group you had to pay to be in and have a good record.

USPS is federally regulated and have different protections. Mail shipped through USPS cannot be opened by anyone other than the recipient for any reason besides a warrant. A dog indicating on your package would mean nothing to postal inspectors. Fedex and UPS are private companies and your packages do not have the same protections.

User MKWT explained it fairly well. We have solved all the major issues with fracking, so now the only issue left is oil and gas releases. If we build out renewables as Kamala wants, fracking would be a non issue.

They are using monopoly loosely. To run a podcast through Apple was easy and you could run it on many platforms. On Spotify you are locked into using their services. Just because Apple had the vast majority of podcasts at the beginning did not make them a monopoly, Spotify forcing podcasts to either be on their large platform or not be makes them a monopoly.

Car manufacturers want these changes, mostly because they can sell their cheaper cars here at a high price since the US market is so used to inflated vehicle prices. Cheaper to make, more profit on the sell.

The article describes how the rural population has been overlooked and abandoned in favor of the inner cities, leading to higher levels of racism.

My college professor told us on the first day of class that attendance was optional. The class is very simple so I decided no not attend the second day, at which they announced the class actually was attendance mandatory. I did not know this until over a month into missing classes. Now, the class ended early, and having a higher attendance score would push me from a B to an A. The professor refused to change the grade, should I escalate into a formal appeal or is there another process I should try first.
