Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

Rule 7: We didn't USED to need a rule about how many posts one could make in a day, then someone posted NINETEEN articles in a single day. Not comments, FULL ARTICLES. If you're posting more than say, 10 or so, consider going outside and touching grass. We reserve the right to limit over-posting so a single user does not dominate the front page.
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

Someone doesn't know what "organization" means.
More likely because they are so vague, he can label any opposition as antifa and toss them in prison.
Not just Trump; the Dutch parliament has just accepted a motion to also declare Antifa a terrorist organization.
This is a country that was occupied by Nazis 80 years ago. People who fought in the resistance have always been considered heroes. And now they're declared criminals. These parties are openly siding with the Nazis.
Mind you, we also had the AFA, Anti-Fascist Action 40 years ago, when they attacked a racist fringe political party with smoke bombs that ended up burning down a hotel, so declaring them terrorist would have made some sort of sense at the time, but they haven't been heard of for the past 39 years.
It's pure political posturing to side with Trump or create an excuse to arrest protesters who disagree with them.

Designate a concept as a terrorist organization, and then you can label anyone you don't like as antifa so you can prosecute them.
It's ridiculous how far the US is now into fascism. If the frog knew any history it would know what it means to be in a nice pot with warm water on top of a stove.
This feels like those theatre plays for children where the wolf is hiding behind the main character and all the children are shouting "the wolf is there!!" While the main character remains oblivious.
I just watched a video of an interview with an FBI agent. That was literally what white supremicists say. "Do you support fascism? No? Then you're antifa"

Anyone protesting or says anything mean again him from now on = antifa
I feel like it's incredibly important to note here that 4 days ago the US military, at the direct order of president trump, destroyed a Venezuelan civilian boat in international waters killing every one on board. The ENTIRE reason the trump administration claimed this move was legal (it isn't in either courts of US law and the International Criminal Court) is because they claimed the boat was carrying members of Tren de Aragua which they recently officially announced as a terrorist organization.
This is what a lot of commenters are missing. This might be the most dangerous part.

I hate this country. I hate having been born here. I hate the fact fascism is on the rise. I hate that people are openly embracing it again. I hate that I have to consider leaving everything for a less shit country. I hate almost everything.
Fascism is on the rise everywhere, you won't escape it by leaving. The only choice is to resist.
I don’t want to have to fight just to exist every single day of my life. It’s exhausting
Hard agree, but hopefully as people wake up you'll be fighting along side people you care about, it makes some difference. And if you find there is a country you can safely escape to, that might still an be an option.

This is going to lead to an escalation of political violence.
If something as nebulous as antifa is "terrorist", then it's easy for anyone to be classified as a terrorist. See also what is going on in the UK with Palestine Action. But instead of embarrassed unarmed bobbies doing the arresting, in the US it will be masked, unidentified goons, mirroring ICE practices. So that lowers the threshold to drop into a "homo sacer" category that can be basically shot on sight. Which means, more people will have nothing to lose. Which means more political violence.
