Whether it's spare parts, a weird AC adapter, a cool sweater, an obscure movie, a tool... show it off here!

So there's these Amazon return stores everywhere that look like permanent flea markets. Walking around I saw this little guy for 5$, an external Bluray writer. Not bad, not bad. The QR code just links to a short manual. edit: it's a Matshita BD-MLT UJ-260 according to device manager.

Yeah, those bin stores are crazy.
You wade through piles and piles of literal junk, and occasionally find a gold nugget.

I found some weird networking equipment that I absolutely don't need, but bought anyway, some kind of Ethernet to fiber optic converter. As well as bags and bags of LC and FC fiber. If the EMP apocalypse comes, I'll be ready to network my Commodore 64s by fiber optics.

That's a nice find for that price, Congrats! Made me realize that i never thought about a BluRay burner before... Never had the need for one i guess.

It's more for playing blurays, maybe ripping if it turns out it does it well.

I've never heard of an Amazon return store! That sounds fun.

They seem to be popping up everywhere. It's chaos, and you need to go often to find interesting items. Don't get swept up by FOMO, there's always more crap in an endless avalanche of trinkets in torn boxes. Also, the prices change day by day, when the crap is fresh it's like 20$ a table and towards the end of the week it's 5$ until the trucks come to replenish the piles.

So glad this stuff makes it to people. You hear so much stuff about returns becoming so large Amazon just sends to the landfill.

With the sheer amount of stuff, someone will figure out a way to make money from it. Although with the rents and city taxes I have no idea how they make money in Montreal selling LED garden hoses and mismatched bedspreads for 10$.
