I have no idea who this guy is, but if right wingers don't like him he's probably ok

[–] Microtonal_Banana@lemmy.zip 7 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

Right wingers have some new bullshit they're melting down over every week.

[–] modus@lemmy.world 0 points 23 hours ago

I'm completely desensitized to this "right/left wingers melt-down" headline trend.

[–] kadaverin0@lemmy.dbzer0.com 11 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Can we round up conservatives and put them in a rocket aimed at a black hole?

[–] BradleyUffner@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago

Why would you do that to a black hole?

[–] Theprogressivist@lemmy.world 166 points 2 days ago (3 children)

When aren't they having a meltdown for the stupidest things?

[–] TheMadCodger@piefed.social 68 points 2 days ago (3 children)

For such a "tough guy" culture, it's amazing how they live in such constant fear of… everything.

[–] F_State@midwest.social 1 points 23 hours ago

Having a brain predisposed to fear is one of the hallmarks of being a Right Winger

[–] kadaverin0@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 1 day ago

That's fascism for you: Your enemies are weak and ignorant but simultaneously powerful and cunning.

Pretty much always.

The media continually paint them as having a meltdown, but in reality it’s their state of being; the reactionary hate is where they live.

If you hear “ does and the far right say they’re OK with that….” be VERY concerned about whatever was.

9 times out of 10 it's Kanye posting Nazi shit again

[–] blargh513@sh.itjust.works 18 points 2 days ago

Its almost like they are masking their brittle nature with false bravado, trucks and guns...

🤨

Inb4 they say its unamerican to have a Puerto Rican do the super bowl halftime show, because theyre too stupid to realize that Puerto Ricans are Americans

[–] SayJess@lemmy.blahaj.zone 93 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Guaranteed the far-right does not see them as Americans.

[–] Omegamanthethird@lemmy.world 73 points 2 days ago

Guaranteed the far-right doesn't see them as people.

[–] Cethin@lemmy.zip 21 points 2 days ago

Our dumb fuck president didn't know he was the president of Puerto Rico last time. I think most of them don't even know it exists to have an opinion on them being American or not.

Lemme guess, it started on Fox News?

What are they distracting from now, still the Epstein files? Trump backtracking on Portland and considering that Fox might be wrong about it? The Church shooter being MAGA? The list is too long, they need to keep pumping out the distractions.

It’s not the NFL’s fault country music sucks

[–] BruisedMoose@piefed.social 14 points 2 days ago

I am an old person and really know nothing about him, but looking at the thumbnail, I do remember enjoying his hit song "Dick in a Box."

[–] Almacca@aussie.zone 23 points 2 days ago

Those dickheads really do have some fucked up priorities, don't they. The county's on the brink of full fascism, and they 'melt down' over the most inconsequential bullshit.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 48 points 2 days ago (2 children)

The right wing are such tender little soy boys.

[–] CoopaLoopa@lemmy.dbzer0.com 25 points 2 days ago (2 children)

About to have a lot more soy in their diet now that they have $12 billion USD worth of soybeans that China isn't going to purchase.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 1 points 15 hours ago

I wouldn't be surprised if it gets dumped/allowed to rot in fields. A whole lot of dumbasses think soy will make them lose their manhood, so I don't see too many on the right changing their diet to anything even having the appearance of being plant-based. I mock their goofy "soy boy" slur as I think it should be mocked...

[–] grrgyle@slrpnk.net 8 points 2 days ago

Something tells me soy is about to get a real big brand facelift soon

I hope Mr. Bunny has a great security team, because those fuckers are crazy and known to shoot people they fear.

Maybe they ought to listen to some Bad Bunny before they complain. My Spanish is terrible, but I still find his songs catchy.

I CANT Wait for our SMALL GOVERNMENT to Threaten the NFL if they Dont Change Artists!

[–] kadaverin0@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 1 day ago

Preferably screaming.

[–] Treczoks@lemmy.world 20 points 2 days ago (1 children)

They have to face so many disappointments lately. Several shooters that were not queer black illegal aliens, ICE removing their cheapest ~~slaves~~ employees, and now no country singer for the halftime show.

That is more than those snowflakes can stand.

I have no idea who bad bunny is. But I also have no idea who is in the superbowl. I just hope the commercials are good.

[–] SpaceNoodle@lemmy.world 52 points 2 days ago (4 children)

I think it's Football this year

[–] ceenote@lemmy.world 27 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Football? That's one of the sports of all time!

Right winger = perpetual meltdown

Maybe society can figure out how to harness all that perpetual negative energy to make something good. Something like churros.

And yet Spanish speaking voters are still erect for Trump.

[–] dhork@lemmy.world 23 points 2 days ago (7 children)

Maybe not anymore, a few polls have shown reduced support for Trump among Hispanics, probably because his goons assume they are illegal because they're brown.

We tried to warn them....

I see Kendrick Lamar got the last helicopter out of Saigon.

It's gonna be more shit like this going forward. I don't know who in their right mind would agree to do a half-time show with the current state the country is in. It's like performing for the fuhrer in 1939.

[–] sausager@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

Only some dumb ass racist redneck bible thumping country singer could make maga happy. I'm surprised it isn't one, tbh

Never heard of this guy until he hosted SNL. He was great and has a very good sense of humour. I liked him. Then, very recently, he showed up in Happy Gilmore 2 and again, he was great! I don't listen to new music anymore so I can't comment on that (I'm old and ignorant).

[–] HuskerNation@lemmy.zip 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I'm 47 I'm always looking for new music I think why most people stop searching for new music is because music and memories are strongly associated with one another so if you have good memories of music you grew up with you tend not to seek out new stuff.

I'm always seeking out new punk bands or industrial metal or political metal that goes against the right wing. And I have an 11-year-old daughter so I get to hear some of the new pop and whatever else is coming out there are some gems if you look hard enough

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 day ago

I love music and have listened to it all my life. Mostly current popular stuff. Over time I found that the music industry was becoming formulaic and no longer resonated with me. It seems it had lost it's soul and was used more for marketing clothing lines or a "scent". I still listen to new music, new for me anyway, but I find it in the past, before I was born. Lately I've been listening to Louis Prima non-stop. Man that guy had charisma, was funny, and he could sing and play that trumpet like nobody. I try to keep politics out of my music but there are great political songs as well. "Wanted Man" - Manhattan Transfer; "There is no Time" - Lou Reed, for example. I agree that there are always musical nuggets of gold to find in any generation, if you dig around a little. Reminds me of the Paul Simon line "Every generation throws a hero up the pop charts". I have nothing against the new music, I just don't pursue it anymore. All the best.

I think it’s only fair to swap between a liberal and Kid Rock each year.

[–] Cosmonauticus@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

I love the imagery of empty stands because who the fuck wants to hear kid rock in 2026?
