I read Stephen King's "Insomnia" in one night.

When asked how I did it, I said it was easy, I didn't sleep.

I've read the entire wheel of time series.

Like.

That was a lot of words.

And there are entire books where NOTHING HAPPENS.

i don't think that's really fair, for example, in the slowest one I grew to hate Faile more than any other character in literary history, and that's technically a result of character exploration.

Me rn after i ran out of chapters that were adapted into manga form already so now im continuing with the original novel form instead. Its 5800 pages O.O i still have ~3000 left
