Pretty similar looking to white tail deer that are similarly over abundant in most of North America too.

Man! I never even get close. All is get is crashing through the underbrush or, at best, a flash of white tail. :(

Wandering around the forest mumbling to myself, crazy as a prophet, may have something to do with that. 🤷🏻‍♂️

During our record snowfall (Florida!) a deer and I scared each other up close, only because it was so quiet during the storm.
