Accelerationism is also in all contexts I know it connected to facism, so eh - was that the intent here?

Connected to fascism but also to extreme left as well. The idea is to accelerate social decline so that either side could finally get the chance to implement their vision of the world.

If consciousness uploading was possible, the techbros would own it, and everything from self-driving cars to smart toilets would run on the enslaved copies of the minds of poor people. The mercy of death would be a luxury for those who could afford it.
