Great game! Lovely level design, fascinating and beautiful to look at. Not at all stereotypical as it may seem from the promo material. Also before playing it I thought that playing as a cat was gonna be a gimmick, but the gameplay is actually influenced by it (lots of vertical movement, jumps, interesting perspectives etc.)
Agreed, I played it a little after it came out on and assumed I would just try it out bc it was free on ps+. I ended up both finishing the entire game. Surprisingly fun to play although not terribly long
A delightful single sitting game. About 4 hours in length

$22 USD is a bit steep though, making the game ~$5.50 USD a hour.
That's kind of a shame. Is there no sandbox (or litter box) mode to play with after you've beaten the game?
The game is more interactive movie/visual novel(?) than game, sort of like "Life is strange" or "To the moon". So a litter box mode sadly doesn't make sense
That's a shame, ~$30 seems pretty steep for that.
It's packed with enough artistry and love that I'm 100% fine with that price personally. I've replayed it a few times and got most of the trophies (except for the one where you run through the little eyeball monsters without getting hit once, fuck that trophy) so it's definitely paid for itself for me.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one struggling with that achievement. I was also trying to get all of them but kept getting stuck on that one and gave up haha. I might get back to it one day, but it's tough. Reading tips on it they're like "Just run in a zig zag" and clearly it's not that simple
I found one video that had some decent tips that were actually strategy based which helped a bit and let me get a lot further than I could before with just zigzagging (it actually had strategies and tips for each specific segment of that part of the map and specific groups of the blobs, and what directions to move in first or what angle to come in at), but it required a lot of really good timing and reflexes and I think some rng on top of that regarding the enemies' trajectory, and by a certain point I just wanted to keep replaying the rest of the game, so I'm gonna try to get it some day but not yet lol.
Still a little expensive for what's essentially an Abzu or Gris, but I'll keep an eye on it.
Game was awesome. A bit short, but I still enjoyed it very much. It plays kind of like a puzzle game and I found it to be super chill.
Bought it at launch still haven't played. I know I suck.
I was the same, except I played a little at launch then apparently forgot about it. Recently I picked it back up and banged it out from the beginning. Fantastic game and a wonderfully detailed world. Really worth your time. Only took me 5.5 hours and that was with plenty of exploring but not getting 100%
Glad I'm not the only one!
Very nice experience with amazing visuals and sounds, you should definitely give it a try, though it's not everyone's cup of tea
Fun game, just hope they fixed all the shader compilation stutters because that was really annoying when I played through it.
Does this work on steam deck in offline mode? I currently don't have good enough internet and looking for games.
should work
Yeah, most games work in offline mode, in my experience anyways.
Yes,
I played it on a car ride.
Catlateral Damage was better tbh
Overrated as fck.
It's not even a game in my eyes. I asked for a refund after one hour of boredom. And why do people downvote opinions? Do we have all to praise it?
The downvotes indicate they disagree with the opinions. I know there is debate what up and down mean... but people will use them as they see fit regardless
Its not a game in the normal sense, more a visual novel, but its well done, and a good experience.
The way they implemented the tail mechanics so you never see the cat's starfish in your face is worth the price of entry alone. :)
Oh, so we're back to the mindhive and screw the unpopular opinions...
Well, the up and down votes dont do anything, so your unpopular opinion is still seen!
Unless you sort comments by popular and you're too whatever to read em all
