I use Mullvad, but id like to use TC for some tracker control. However, the way it does that is thru a VPN. how can I make this work? or is mullvads DNS content filtering enough?

Edit: Ended up using App Manager (fdroid) like @badelf suggested

You can use App Manager (fdroid) toblock trackers. Pro:fine grain control.. Con:TC has essential unblock.

i use netGuard, it is very similar to t. control

settings > advanced options > socks proxy

through this proxy i can use netGuard with Orbot. It may be possible to direct it to a vpn that accepts socks connections

edit : yes, t.c. has the same option to use a socks proxy

If you use wireguard you could use RethinkDNS
