I enjoyed this even more because I didn't read any of the bullshit article where someone describes how much they enjoyed the video, and instead went straight to the video itself. Would recommend.
Amelia Tyler did an awesome job on the BG3 narration.
I can't wait to see what she will work on next.
TBH, the VA in BG3 has been exceptional overall. I don't think I've encountered anything that hasn't hooked/sold me on the part!
The only bad thing notice is that the druids lines were clearly recorded across multiple sessions, and you can hear the difference in recording quality line to line.
Besides that, no complaints.
Oh yeh. Halsin, that was pretty jarring. It becomes more cohesive later on. Or perhaps I didn't interact with him as much.
And having said that, sometimes the pause between lines isn't long enough. Clearly lines have been edited/programmed together without thought of the flow of the actual dialog.

Definitely, and sometimes it ends up being the other way around too, with very unnatural pausing between lines making the flow sound very artificial and unnatural.
What an absolute treat. I was already crushing hard on the voice, now I get to hear her giggle and blow raspberries.
This is amazing.
"you mo-cap bastards"
that reminded me of the tv show "con-man"
"Aren't you a big, scary player character? What level are you now? Is it 2??"
"Stern.. face"
That was really funny.
