But regardless, fans in the Vaush subreddit are already doing damage control along these lines, assuming/asserting that this is a joke or a bit. And there's no way it's a joke. If it is, he has an extremely malformed sense of humor and doesn't mind being the butt of the "joke."

There's a whole discussion on the legality of AI-generated child porn (and even of drawn child porn in general) that I'm not willing to learn much about, but AFAIK it's a bit of a "it's up in the air, the courts decide, depends on the country" situation.

I am going to have to ask you not to conflate Anime with CSA and CSA material. While I my self do not watch Anime, I think it is ridiculous to think anyone here would get upset about you raising concerns about CSA if it where just a photo. However, from a thread here, there is compelling reason to see that Anime is not equivalent to CSA. For example Pokemon, is considered Anime, and from what I understand is a children's show.
