Why are all the #peertube instances #defederated from each other?

Has there been drama over there? Is there a functional reason?

I think they don't federate by default and use a whitelist based system? I'm by no means an expert though.

Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using a URL instead of its name, which doesn't work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: !nostupidquestions@lemmy.world

Also there's a bunch of copyrighted material being uploaded. If everything uploaded was available from every instance, hosting a peertube instance would be a great way to get sued probably.
