All ideologies are based on ideas from other places. there is no such thing as a completely unique ideology that shares no characteristics with ideologies in other countries.

Nationalists and fashist would be very surprised if they understood results of genetical examination. There is no such thing as pure biological Pole, Italian, German, etc. We have genetic material from many, many places brought by our ancestors. This is why, among others, I consider borders and nations as primitive, obsolete, herd concept believed in by some primitive creatures like fashists. This is why a world revolution is needed.

The way you spell "fascist" makes me read it as fashit which honestly is an improvement.

[-] lemat_87@lemmygrad.ml 1 points 1 year ago

This is probably because of the Polish pronunciation (I am a Pole, as you comrade probably are) or some unconcious tendency to associate them with shit. Anyway, thank you for the correction, though I am not sure if that will break my habit to call them fashits or similarly :D

I for example always think of fascine when writing about fascism. As in the thing you throw into the swamp and drive tank on it.

Best mnemonic ever :)

On the one hand - lol. On the other hand, I've seen this applied to Marxism instead (curiously, almost never to fascism or nationalism). Heck, I've seen folks over at Sino criticize Marxism, because "it's some German guy, we need our OWN, Chinese philosophy!".

On a third hand, I like to use this logic for Christianity and Europe.

Yeah i seen those too in Poland, although as you can probably guess, Marx was more often pointed out not as a German but as a Jew.

Not surprised. The whole "judeo-bolshevism" crap blossoms ever wider
