I didn't have a problem killing Gut. The other fungi was way cooler looking with his sweet oil-on-water rainbow sheen.

Myconoid hitler why you hitler why?

We are at the same spot in playthrough 😂

I mean, he's not really Hitler, though. I thought the whole thing was a pretty fair response, considering what happened. The largest reason I refused was I really didn't want to fight the entire damn colony.

I just love those mushy bois. I didn't wanna hurt anyone.

I went all in with Glut because his story would have resonated with my PC, but all you have to do is finish off the other Sovereign and the fight ends - Glut takes control and only one myconid goes down, the rest all start hailing their new king.

Yeah, after I unknowingly opened

Plot/quest spoiler

The bottle from the chest being transported to Zarya

in the colony and all the myconids did was cast haste on each other and run around uselessly but cutely, I didn't have the heart to ever want to attack them.

Was very much this meme when Glut said what he said.

(Keeping things vague as I don't know if this spoiler tag will actually work)

The spoiler tag is an odd format. I get the best results when I highlight thetext and then select the formatting option.

Oh, agreed. I thought I'd have to fight when I first spotted them and theorized they'd be an absolute bitchful of status effects, so I'm glad it went like it did. I think they're my favorite race atm. They're so interesting to me, and they fit really well since I'm playing a druid.

Gut is awesome. We used his mushroom powers to take Bulette as our companion for the fight against the Duergar
