What an excellent way to make straight males question their sexuality that was informed almost entirely by popular culture.

I can guarantee everyone here that no one or almost no one catcalling these people knows who madeline is.

If not by cultural influences (like pop culture), how else would one develop their sexuality?

[–] Yrt@feddit.de 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

innate. Only rules like it has to be consensual and people have to be a certain age,... could be considered "cultural influence".

I'm sorry, I'm having trouble understanding what you're trying to say. Could you reword that?

[–] Yrt@feddit.de 3 points 1 year ago

I'm sorry, what I tried to say was that sexuality of an individual isn't something you "learn" through social or cultural things, but it's something you're born with. Only the ruleset of what is acceptable and what not is a social or cultural thing.

I never understood that indentation. The top most comment is the furthest to the right? People who reply have their names far away from their message above all messages?

It’s reminiscent of really old email threads.

If the quote markdown was actually used properly, this is how Lemmy or Reddit would look.

It works like greentext plus recursion.

This squicks me right the fuck out.

[–] SidewaysHighways@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

Oh you're on the squicks train?
