That looks like the most fun you can have while breaking your neck.

Looks cheaper than a horse or motorbike, too, so also cost effective.

Keep us updated on your progress. I made those 😎 Let's skate together one day

Ankle motion is necessary for heelies to work

[-] bstix@feddit.dk 14 points 5 months ago

The tall soles works as a gearing, so they don't have to move the ankle as much.. which is probably the exact opposite of what you'd want.

At least your shins are safe.

Those are mine😊 They actually work😤 I wear them to pride-parades

Is there a wheel on both sides? 🤔

[-] SoyaSuki@lemmy.ml 1 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

Yeah 😊

Just drilled a hole, put 8mm threaded rod through, and added rollerblade wheels🧑‍🔧 Could not find a way to a single one inside.

You'd need a pretty wide heel for that. The plan was to skate with them in a park or half-pipe. Because with regular Heelys you can't go up a transition...

Counterpoint, they should and skate into meeeee

Excessively buckled boots are depicted with heelys (skate wheel embedded in the heel). The they/them refers to the fact that only enbies (nonbinary people) would wear them and thus have too much power

I'm a trans woman, she/her and I'd rock these
