Why would she even be thinking about him on her first day? Who does he think he is? He's just a weird man with too much money.

I do think the age changes it. If it's an 18 year old guy asking about his girlfriend, I also would be like, "hey, that may be a bit much. Old ones are fine." cause they're young. The expectations are lower. If it's an adult woman asking this for her husband, I would say to not give it on their birthday. "Hey, here's my old pair. Happy birthday" may be a bit flippant, but saying, "Hey, I got a new pair, want my old one?" doesn't seem like a bad deal.

Also, we didn't see the post. Maybe the other gifts were also bad. Not saying that AITA isn't a dumpster fire. But he changed the factors and didn't give us all the information.

Edit: I just saw the post. He bought her airpods a few years ago and, with how he's talking, it sounds like he got his around the same time. His wife's are glitching and just generally failing, but his used ones are fine. He says she takes care of them as with the rest of her things. He has the option to get free, new pair. Yeah, that is kind of dickish. "Here's my old headphones that could very well be on their way out as well and have been worn for x years. Please enjoy while I get my brand new set that I've openly told you I don't need. Happy birthday."

If this wasn't her birthday, fine. But on the day? That kind of fucked imo

If head wraps/scarves count, then that.

Would... Wouldn't women be able to feel that? The idea of feeling that settle and I guess... Die!? If it doesn't get fertilized? WOULD We HAVE TO PASS It BACK OUT!?

I think it's speaking about women who "allow" bad behavior.

Like, maybe the man's mom does all this chores for him without asking, so he comes to expect it. His wife, who is not his mother, says he has to do his own laundry and maybe puts their foot down about the whole "weaponized incompetence" some men use. The man is surprised, because he didn't expect his wife to be "less forgiving" than this mother.

For daughters, sometimes daughters (or just children in general) , as an outside observer to the relationship, can tell that one parent is shit (in this cause, the father). When the wife may go, "He didn't meant it, he's just tired," the daughter may not be "as forgiving" and just say he is abusive.

However, I don't think either of these are gender specific. Just depnsends on the dynamic at play.

She'll stand there and scream until I get her food. 🙃

Oh, returning to a classic I see.

That is so cool!

NatGeo picked him up for a birdwatching show and that show won an Emmy. I'll have to watch it.

I don't think this is real. He's tattooing in her face and it's not red or puffy or leaking a little blood. It looks like a healed tattoo.

Edit: He's so doing the "wipe," but her face is dry? And he has her doing this straight up? Not that you can't, but I'd expect at least a chair for some head support.

I recently noticed a Finch that seems to be suffering from this, which really broke my heart. I looked it up and have taken down and washed the feeders. I'm posting to ask if chikadees can get this as well. I've looked all over but they mostly mention doves and so forth. Some of the chikadees still visit to see if the feeder is back, and I can't tell if one is just fat or if she's sick. I know I wouldn't be able to do anything, but I'd like to know if I should be looking at them as carriers as well.

spoiler

Please remember this little Finch. It breaks my heart that I can't help her and I'm surprisingly devesated about this random bird.
