I was a kid, and a dumb one lol I've confused actors just because they changed their hair. In the same movie. I'm just not good with faces 😂

The Sexy Brutale!

It's a murder/puzzle game and I really enjoyed it.

I haven't seen an add in years, but I would mute or do something else like a regular commercial break. You know, snack, maybe bathroom, check my phone, etc.

[-] 2ugly2live@lemmy.world 29 points 1 day ago

Yeah, and it'll likely keep happening.

Good job, America.

I'mma be real with you: I have zero interest in hearing someone's reasons for voting for a fascist.

When Ty’s mom got the phone call that her son was going to be arrested, she said it was her worst fear come true: Her son’s autism was mistaken for a threat. “Once you looked at his backpack, if there was nothing in there to hurt anyone, then why did you handcuff my 13-year-old autistic son who didn’t understand what was going on and take him down to juvenile?” she said.

Why indeed.

Their excuses are baffling. Harris didn't have policy. Okay, but Trump did? He kept walking about "concepts" of a plan, and lying about wanting P25. Trump is for the people? He is hanging out with, like, the national league of assholes and duchebags. "Harris was scary." BUT NAZIS AREN'T!?

Depressed.

I haven't gone on walks for a bit because I just cannot stand seeing those fucking signs. My mom and grandma are in a tizzy, and my mom is just as forlorn. She doesn't even want to vote anymore.

And I'm so, so, so angry. I'm not saying Harris would be the second coming, but that anyone would pick a fascist over anyone is infuriating. The area I live in is not bougie, these signs were sometimes outside houses that have seen better days. And they doomed us all for at least the next four years. I'm so distrustful of my neighbors ~~not that we were close to begin with~~. I want to ask them why, I want to scream at them, I want to question them.

I feel helpless. All my life I believed that there was some thread of decency that connected us, a thread of common sense. But there's none. And that's really upsetting.

This past weekend, my laptop decided it's had enough and has given me the blue screen of death. I've put it in recovery mode, tried to reinstall windows, the works, and it refuses. I have no idea why. I was logged on, looking something up, and it went kaput. I wasn't downloading anything, the computer was in it's sleeve prior, not too wet, cold, hot, etc. Battery is fine, the laptop it's self is maybe two years old.

My understanding is that Linux is a kind of system that you download the components to a USB or what not and then install it on your machine. Is that something I could do in this case? Or do I need to take it somewhere?

Edit: it seems I may have to check if it's a hardware problem. The error code is Bad_system_config_info, but it changed to something else at one point but I didn't write that one down. :(

They put out this shelf and I want it, but I don't want to seem strange? It would make a nice plant shelf, but it's not something I can scurry away with, so people would see me while I carried it. Is that a bad thing to do?

EDIT: Never mind. Someone beat me to it. 😭

I took this picture through my mosquito netting and I thought it turned out neat.

When I adopted her she was 21 pounds and I had to use a small dog carrier. She's now at a healthy 13 (she's long).

Another photo of her from her chonk days:

I adopted her when I was in the south west and she came with me to the east coat. That blur in the corner is my fat finger trying to take a picture.
