Bidet. Not even the fancy ones. Like the cheap ones that are no more than $20-30. Every poop, I've got a squeaky clean butthole.
Cancer. The trauma and pain I went through changed me and how I see the world. For a long time afterwards, I was stuck in a deep depression. I've been working through it all, but I feel like I lost 6 years of my life.
I realize now how fleeting our lives are and stopped thinking about things I wanted to do or pursue, and started executing on them. I got back into longboarding, learned 3D printing, metal working, etc. This life is all we get and nothing is guaranteed. I don't want to be on my deathbed again thinking about all the things I wish I did.
So on the right, you have people who don't want an entire subset of the population to exist. On the left, you have those people who are fighting for the right to exist. Tell me where a centrist falls in this situation. How can you meet in the middle?
When people say 'I could care less'. I know what they mean, but it is absolutely not what they said. I hate it even more when I hear it in a song or a TV show/movie. That tells me it made its way past a whole slew of writers and editors. I hate it. It's 'I couldn't care less'. COULDN'T!!! Like you care so little that you couldn't care any less.
So glad Limbaugh is dead.
Swap those numbers and you got yourself a deal!
Helium mask.
I went through a serious bout of cancer when I was 30 and saw what it looks like trying to fight the inevitable. I've been cancer free for about 9 years now, but the suffering I went through and saw in others left its mark on me.
When I do finally get sick again, I will go out on my terms, not the disease's.
You're lucky you got away with your life. There have been dozens, if not hundreds of missing persons cases that correlate to Garth Brooks' concert tour locations. It's rumored that he is responsible for the majority of missing persons in the continental US.
You just made my week. I have missed the UI of Boost for so long and didn't know it existed for lemmy until just now.
The environment is ok and all, but we need to think about the economy.
The U.S. also knew that Saudis were partially responsible for 9/11 and did nothing. The war wasn't about terrorism or revenge. It was about control for oil. The U.S. government doesn't give a crap about any of its people, so long as it's national interests are kept safe and the status quo maintained.
