I've tried before, that sounds horrible, why are you doing that to yourself.

I've worked at not small companies who still thought that was too much work to mess with.

Bernie is trying real hard to keep it up, but I'm leaning towards the former. I think he's just worn out now, he just hops on to whatever he's invited to, pivots to whatever his most important message is at the moment, does that laugh of his at a few comments and gets out of there.

I feel like things could work out for them if territory boundaries were kept intact and integrated as individual states. I feel like Ontario would settle as a solid democrat state, but I think the rest are still in play. I want to say Quebec would end up democrat too but Quebec is surprising, I wouldn't put any money on it.

There's a lot of heroes out there doing even less than the bare minimum making it a lot easier for those of us who put in any effort at all. Seems to get more common as I get older.

Whenever there's a minor update of any kind, they tell me about something pointless that they've added Gemini too, but it's mostly fine and I've always been able to turn it off or ignore it. I haven't noticed any major issues with it.

I think any of us who have worked in academia can say something very similar about the other kind of doctor. I do feel like it may be a situation where it's just that the more vocal ones are ruining it for everyone, but we're getting heavy into anecdotal data at that point.

It sucks, but the anti intellectual crowd does legitimately have a lot of places to point some fingers.

Some pieces are pretty rare and you can likely search for sets that just include those specific pieces, but it is admittedly hard to quantify what's rare if you don't know Lego.

As an example though, the larger minifigures like you have right in the middle were not common at all, you're looking at maybe 5-6 potential sets at most for that guy. Searching for the more standard minifigures will probably put you on a good path too, parts can be mixed and matched, but the chest pieces will likely be the rarest items. Extra large pieces like the boat piece the person on the side seems to be holding are another good option.

Man, feel like Norse iconography might be almost a lost cause here. I was looking into getting a Thor's Hammer tattoo years ago... Every variation you can think of has been co-opted by a Nazi group somewhere. I think it was the FBI that used to keep a database of symbols linked to terrorist groups, most of it was various flavors of Nazis and most of that was symbols stolen from Norse culture.

No one to cheer for, we don't do good guys anymore, just various levels of bad guys fighting between themselves.

I get you, but I think at a certain point if we're relying on it being properly implemented and a large group isn't then I'd say we're back on denuvo as the party at fault for not addressing it and preventing it.

It sucks, but we have to expect and plan for when people are stupid to a point because that is always going to be a key source of failure.
