I agree with your terminology - updating is for often small incremental software patches.

Upgrade would be a complete program overhaul, or more commonly in my use of it, a change to a newer, better physical product.

Did that.

Doc was 45 minutes late to work.

She was a nice lady but that had me fuming.

I then had to wait two hours for a taxi. I was in tears from anxiety by the time I got home, then had to go back to work.

Luckily I am WFH so no one could see me crying.

That was a bad day!

I'm an Aussie, and a biscuit is a biscuit, plus I love Britcoms, yet I've never heard the term!

I love it, though.

We have to deal with them at the moment because we're staying with an elderly relative and her house, her rules - fair - and she is worried about switching providers. If something did go wrong and she lost her number, it would be pretty awful. So we're stuck with Telstra.

We're on our third modem with them in a little over a year (had to get a decent one, working from home). The absolute shit fight to get it replaced each time only served to reinforce that we are entirely correct on our views of their business. They have made it as tangled a web as Centrelink (another org that we have luckily not had to deal with in some time), and their customer service is basically non existent.

To their credit, their store staff did their best to help but their hands were so incredibly bound by red tape that there wasn't much to they could do. Also, the credit we were promised after the second go around was never applied to the account. Wasn't worth our time to chase it, because we actually value our time and have wasted enough of it.

And that's just one consumers experience.

The stuff they do on a national level is absolutely shameful. They need to be broken up.

The issue is the 4/20 (blaze it).

It also seems fake.

I'm fairly certain some or most of my partner's boxers & trunks have a dick hole. Certainly the boxers do.

I wash them, I should really know this for sure..

Just assume they all are - I'd be willing to bet it would be the cheaper option than paying staff to sift through the reports then refunding the legit ones.

Burn it all down and start fresh.

I've been composting them at the end of each project.

I'm living with my grandmother in law and she's just very fussy. Sometimes we think, I'd rather just pay rent somewhere, but we love her and she's unwell and we're saving money so we're all looking after each other for now and trying not to sweat the small stuff like hanging a television when we don't really need to.

I honestly haven't even asked, but I know what the answer will be - can't even leave the toaster that I use daily on the bench, has to go away once cooled. Getting to leave my coffee machine out was a bloody battle.

Her house, we live here for free and just pay our share of utilities and do our own groceries, and I help her if she is having a bad health day etc. It's fine. It's (mostly) worth the frustration.

I'm more annoyed with the limitations that renters experience in general - it's the landlord's property, but it's the renter's home, and sometimes it feels like we're never really allowed to make any place our own, what with all the rules and regulations and punishments.

ETA: "won't have a bar of.. ", ie she won't accept that sort of thing.

I have mine set to go to Airplane mode when it pairs to my car's Bluetooth.

It stops me being distracted by calls but allows me to listen to my music.

I'm so confused, I literally thought that the "what goes where" section headers were around the wrong way.

I also agree with your point about not being too strict when we're wanting the community to grow.
