it's way easier for the rich to raise prices to compensate than it is for the working class to get higher wages.

meanwhile cheap debt floods every market and overinflates all prices. so the working class gets doubly screwed by.

Because pets and stray pets are an ecological disaster, especially if they freely reproduce in the wild. It's fine if you keep them at home, but not if you let them roam free. cats will kill anything they come across just for fun. entire species and ecosystems have been wiped out because of this.

Our neighbor had freely reproducing barn cats that he didn't care about at all, so you'd have sickly cats all over the neighborhood, regularly finding dead ones. It isn't fun for them either. It's best for everyone involved to leave their reproduction to breeders.

if you are doing behaving exactly like everyone else, it shows you are well adjusted and your genes and brains function normally, thus your babies are more likely to survive. It's arbitrary, but so are words. There is no reason why the word "word" has to be "word", but by showing you understand and speak language you show your fitness. Just think of non-verbal communication as a language that everyone speaks and biting your lip the right way is the same as saying "word" the right way. You'd think I'm having a stroke if I say "gooyallodsiu" instead of "word" and it's the same for body language.
