You think there is no authority in anarchist government? Have you ever read about horizontal-democracies?

Anarchist just means "against coercive authorities" namely "centralized and hierarchical governance"

You realize the fediverse that creates lemmy is an anarchist structure right?

Unsure if any are active or not, that isn't something I pay too close attention too personally unless it is local music, but here are a few recs from what I could Google about them being active (or at least not disbanding)

  • Alcest
  • Blut Aus Nord
  • Sortilège (reformed in 2019 after a long hiatus)
  • Bran Barr is good folk metal but only two albums though over 10 years, technically never disbanded.
  • Amesoeurs (not active but still good)
  • ADX if you like speed metal
  • Attentat Rock (reformed in 08)

And climate change is an apocalypse for all, which without revolution, we are on a crash course for.

I live in Louisiana as a communist. Doesn't stop me. The threat of violence is all the more reason we need to speak up when we can.

Either you die a slow death forced onto your knees in poverty or you stand up and die doing something about it.

All you have to lose are your chains.

We need to organize outside of the current framework. They want to play circus then let them, but we are the ones lining up in the front row to watch the show. We can just hang out in the cheap seats and talk amongst ourselves on how to bring the big tent down.

How to achieve this I don't know. That is dependant on your local area. It won't be immediate, and it will take time before there is any sizeable movement to actual begin direct action, but it has been done many times in the past and it must happen again if we are going to see change.

Nah mate, the goal of life is to laze away on an island with your friends eating fruit and building shit together. Why would I ever want to leave?

On top of that Israel's President Herzog basically admitting to collective punishment but everyone is treating it like just another Saturday in Suburbia.

Bingo. The message isn't for the boss. It's for my coworkers who might be hiding their identity because of that boss to know they have someone in their corner.

Internalized logical fallacies combined with perceived (or real) trauma along with a lack of critical thinking skills or self awareness required to understand that their thinking is illogical.

The brain is a dumb piece of meat that was shocking into awakening and it is scrambling to make sense of the world and its experiences. It doesn't do a good job if left to its own devices and very often makes mistakes that if not rectified early on can become near impossible to unlearn due to cognitive dissonance.

These lines of thinking have existed for a very long time, becoming louder during the age of information, and all it takes is for someone not in a good headspace to read something that both reaffirms their sorrow as well as shift their personal responsibilities onto another entity. Our brains eat that shit up if not critically analyzed.

So when someone attempts to say that their perceived persecution is wrong or self imposed they become angry feeling invalidated on a personal level.
