Uhm, in Germany it's completely normal for police to assist in situations of mental health and instead of shooting them they talk to them, or, as a last resort, restrain people and bring them back to a care facility, unharmed.

Police receive proper 3 year training and most of them even have a required university degree.

It always amazes me that, in more than just America, so many people are convinced by people like Trump.

There might not be the one perfect system but it should be allowed to modernize some flaws to prevent exactly this and allow more parties to exist.

During an interview for an office job without contact to clients they told me I should do something about my hair because they are a conservative, family owned company and wanted to represent this.

My grandfather passed away two years ago and he was the one who I talked to a lot about this when I was a kid even though he not always wanted to for understandable reasons, but it gave me a clear image that WWII was real and that fascism is something I never ever want to have in this world again and that voting right wing is one of the worst things one can do.

I also visited Auschwitz 15 years ago and that left a lasting impression I will never forget.
