He'll never get his rematch, he'll always be 0-1 to Joe and it's driving him insane. Let alone the fact that his new opponent is his kryptonite and killing him in his beloved "ratings". He's getting booed off stage and Democrats are filling arenas with people chanting "U.S.A".
If anyone reads the writing on the wall to him, he might finally snap.
It's not official until the convention, but it's not hard to keep a tally of the number of delegates that have voluntarily endorsed her or said "she will get my vote". They're just reporting that the tally is high enough that she'll win if nothing changes. It's just....the news reporting stuff.
Last time we had a candidate this old, he was a Democrat and he stepped down. If I was a young Republican voter I'd be asking myself why my party only wants to prop up elderly candidates. It's insane to allow someone as old as Trump into the oval office, and we've heard many Republicans say this recently! Hopefully they'll continue to voice this opinion and vote accordingly. I know what I would do if I were them.
He wasn't even president at the time of the hush payment was he? There's no way that could be considered an official act. Unless maybe the supreme Court was full of bribable puppets, with 1/3 of them having been appointed by the convicted felon.

As a lifelong Iowan I am ashamed that we continue to employ this woman. Paying her a salary is not sustainable for Iowa, she is holding back this great state from so much potential it's enraging.
