Brave is terrible. But while not entirely relevant, so is DuckDuckGo. These mfs have enough money to appear in superbowl commercials lol. How can anyone trust their privacy claims when their shit is in the US and I don’t believe they’ve been audited. I suppose it’s good to find alternative results, but for privacy? Come on

There is a healthy and honest way to appreciate communism, Russia, the CCP and even DPRK.

Agreed

And then there are people who are completely shilling the CCP Russia DPRK as communist uptopias. These people are tankies.

I would agree with you, if you simply called them dumbasses instead of using the equivalent of “woke” that’s virtually meaningless now. I have seen communists, anarchists, liberals, and even Zelensky being branded as “tankies”

After taking some serious time to think, I agree with you. It’s just absurd that anyone can advocate for killing Nazis. The Soviet orcs should have stormed Auschwitz and hugged the guards and scientists and said, “I forgive you, comrade.” The monsters even made poor Adolf commit suicide instead of advocating for self care.

Lol, I highly doubt china will be desperate enough to use consumer level drones and scopes to take over Taiwan given how many soldiers they have with real military equipment.

But even if they are desperate, what makes you think they won’t just seize the factories and pump out 20x the number being shipped to Russia and Ukraine, and the rest of the world? Not to mention, I don’t think China is dumb enough to go to war while Russia is busy at a completely different war, so I really don’t think a couple thousand shitty drones will make a difference 5-10 years from now

Lol, if the tide of war is changed into Russia’s favor because of alibaba tier drones while Ukraine has western equipment entirely designed as weapons from the start, then the problem is a lot deeper than china supporting Russia’s invasion

If you’re paying for sex in the west, then my opinions are more nuanced and less harsh since, economically speaking, workers here are generally in a better position to choose their profession, including sex work, without any coercion other than the standard coercion of capitalism.

However, if you’re a sexpat traveling to developing and underdeveloped countries, you deserve to be thrown into the pit. Sex workers here are more likely to be poorer, desperate, pimped out, and/or trafficked by the mafia. Not to mention many are underage. There is no choice for 99% of the sex workers, or any workers. I don’t care if the age of consent there is 12, you’re still going to into the pit.

When I was in high school, I already knew all the horrendous things the CIA have done to Muslims and just the global south in general since the Cold War.

I still deluded myself into thinking I could change it from the inside if they accepted me. But first, we had t overthrow China and Russia, then reform can be done

How is the US benefitting from this?

According to the most cliche liberal line: the US is killing Russia’s soldiers with no loss of American blood and putting old equipment to good use while bolstering domestic military industrial complex to acquire new stockpiles.

It’s a great return of investment.

No, workers staying healthy through preventative care is not a “return on investment.” Stop talking about healthcare.
