Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I find the lottery fun in moderation, but I only spend like $50 on lottery tickets a year so I’m not exactly the target audience anyway.

Im in charge of making sure engineers and mechanics/technicians adhere to my company’s current electrical wiring standards.

Memorizing every little detail is almost impossible so its easiest to just have an eye for what’s wrong and knowing where to look for the correct answer

Too bad Streetlight Manifesto faced legal trouble and haven’t released an album in a decade :(

This is 100% true.

I work as an electrical and hydraulic engineer and i consider myself above average.

The people with the knowledge base above me are ridiculously intelligent and in a different playing field.

Jim is a dick in most of the office

He thinks he’s better than everyone he works with and really only treats people decently when he wants something

You’d be surprised at how much old technology is still used in parts of our electrical devices and electronics

My biggest thing with a lot of dumb baby names is that in the US, a lot of minorities, especially Black people, got so much shit for naming their kids like LaFawnda or Tyreese. All the whiteys were bitching and saying they’re making their kids unemployable.

Now white people are naming their kids using scrabble tiles that they had to fight other white people over like it was the last jar of mayonnaise

$80 is definitely a high price. If you buy a GBC from eBay or Craigslists etc on any given day I’d expect to pay around $80.

However, if you’re monitoring market places like Facebook or Reddit, you’ll come across them for like $30-40 by people who just want to get rid of them. It might take a few days of waiting to come across one but it happens regularly you just have to be quick and have multiple payment options ready.

I’ve bought a few GB-GBAs recently and I’ve never paid more than $45 for one. I probably average $30 or $35 because I buy multiples.

I’m still researching recurves, recurves accessories, and proper recurve shooting sequences before I buy anything.

I’m currently looking at making arrows for recurves and it appears that a lot of recurve vanes use stick on adhesives vs the cement fletching glue I’m used to seeing on compound arrows.

Many people seem to swear on them but I can’t help but think that stick on fletchings have to come off randomly through out the year.

If that’s real that’s one hell of a feat to pull off

I shot compound for probably 10 years, I know a bit of compound archery because my dad is friends with a professional archer.

I never did recurve though and I’m looking at getting into it because it looks more challenging. I have most of the parts I want spec’d out and I see a lot of people recommend getting a Beiter button.

I looked into it and I didn’t really get a direct answer on what does, based off of appearances it looks like it just pushes the arrow where you want it to keep it centered but I’m not 100% sure.
