I took my kids to this when it first came out. My youngest daughter was about 5, I think. During this scene she just couldn't contain herself and when the music kicked in she stood up and started dancing! The theater wasn't packed, so there was plenty of room. Everyone in the theater started laughing and clapping and we're really sweet. After the movie a bunch of people came over to tell her she was a good dancer. Made her feel like a star!

My son and I have watched this movie too many times to count. Since it's high tech, low life... Dystopian, and style over substance, I would call it cyberpunk personally.
