Exactly. I definitely would not want a nurse or a doctor to operate on me when there on the last stretches of a 12 hour shift, running on 5 hours of sleep. The only question I ask any doctor, nurse or dentist before they start any procedure on me is "how many hours of sleep did you get last night"... Anything less than 6-7 hours puts me in more risk than I'd accept!

I agree, this is more than whether we work more or less efficiently with 4 or 5 days in the office. The ruling class wants us in our white cages (office walls) for as long as possible so, as you said, they can ensure we can't work on other stuff that truly satisfies us and gives us a chance of generating actual wealth rather than depending on whatever measly income they want us to live paycheck to paycheck on...

Were you not alive during the 2008 global financial meltdown? Where the entire world had to subsidize the 1% because the banks they own sold garbage mortgages?

What about more recently with the bank runs that we had a month or so ago? The fed implented a new "insurance warranty" to make banks whole again "without using tax payer funds" but we both know that's a load of bullshit...

Now we have this never ending inflation, interest rates only going up for who knows how long... Literally siphoning your money from whatever savings you have left and if you're already broke, they are taking away any buying power you had and taking it down to nothing...

So yea, fuck whatever bullshit economic theory or whatever academic bullshit you are talking about, regardless of whatever "politics" it's tagged under... Its the 1% snatching away any and all power that the people accumulated over this covid recovery (strong labour market, practically 0 interest during peak covid, work from home, etc)

Thanks for listening to my Ted talk..

I guess we humans have a different code of ethics for diseases and bacteria... Team DNA mixing vs team DNA cloning... A fight as old as life itself

Its sort of ironic how mosquitoes are at the very bottom of the food chain for most of the ecologies they inhabit... But at the same time, is the biggest killer (through the transmission of malaria and other diseases) of humans, who see themselves at the top of the food chain.

In reality, the food chain is more like a food cycle.

I've hiking the JDF in British Columbia, Canada using my casual hammock (had an integrated bug net) and my own janky tarp rig for wind / rain and I loved the experience... Looking into getting something more, better designed specifically for hammock camping

Hmu with recommendations!

**Thanks everyone for the help, I ended up going with the warbonnet black bird xlc. I'm excited to see how it turns out when it arrives.
