You're doing great Ernest, don't be so hard on yourself!
As for funding the project long term, if Patreon/Coffe/LibraPay ever stop being enough, maybe a Wikipedia-like style banner on the top of the page asking for donations could work? I think it's more than fair to remind people to help pay for the upkeep of the free project they use, and if they have a problem with it they can go fork (it) themselves!
Nah, I don't want anything fucking with my dice rolls, especially in combat. If I stack AC, I should be an unhittable tank. If they only worked for skill checks, I would probably leave them on to help with unlucky streaks but even those I can just save scum.
Ability to display certain ability duration/buffs near the aiming reticule (something like what Harrow gets for his healing caused during Peneace) so I don't have to constantly keep looking to the bottom right or top right. With how many Arcanes we have that rely on procing/have CDs and how often Warframes have some buffs that need constant maintenance this would be massive help to reduce the eye strain while using those.
I have done it when the event was first introduced (mostly by using the old AFK on a rock strat) and have not touched it ever since. The PTSD is still too strong for me to ever go back. No reward they could introduce is worth going through this again.
We don't really have a druid frame, one that can shapeshift and use nature themed abilities. Oberon doesn't count, he's an Oath of the Ancients paladin.
I would like a proper take on the barbarian/berserker theme as well, Valkyr is supposed to be that but her kit is so outrageously outdated the only ability that fits that theme is her 4. I would also prefer a big two handed weapon over flimsy claws but that's my subjective preference.
Kestrel inflicts a forced ragdoll on enemies when thrown, a fact I relied heavily upon in my very early Warframe days (you could even use it to kill some bosses by ragdolling them into insta kill pits)
The game has an insanely high number of saves it keeps by default, 20 for both auto saves and quick saves. I reduced it to 10 for both as I never need to go that far back (or if I want the option I just make a manual save), that alone will cut your Steam Cloud size in half.
EDIT - The number is actually 25, even higher than I remembered.
Worth noting, we're getting the Angstrum Incarnon next week, so for anyone interested in getting it Prisma Angstrum is the best version of this weapon.
Caliban really drew the shortest stick possible. Mediocre abilities, drops from the awful Cetus/Fortuna bounties and requires a resource that can only be acquired in Railjack, and only 1 per mission. If not for him appearing in Circuit sometimes, I would have completely forgot he even exists. Sadly I don't think he's gonna get much love until either DE gives him a Deluxe skin or his Prime comes out (which won't be for a very very long time).
A lot of unexpected QoL changes! The damage numbers look pretty cool, I love that they added an option to shorten them, with how silly damage numbers can get in Warframe this will be a nice improvement in readability. The status changes looks OK? Cold still probably won't see much use considering it combines into Viral but improving Puncture procs is a welcome change for all IPS status weapons. As for the Incarnons, I wish they added a token system, maybe as a reward for rank 9, where after collecting X of them you can exchange them for any Incarnon you want. Having to wait 6 weeks to get a weapon you might want or shill out plat is pretty annoying, especially if they keep adding more and more weapons into the rotation.
I've been gaming on Linux for 3 years now and playing Warframe throughout the entire time. With Steam and Proton, the experience is completely painless. Long time ago, you needed a special launch option to have working audio but it's been a while since that was the case. One thing to note, since the Kullervo update you need to use Proton Experimental to run it, but other than that it's flawless. I'm using Fedora Kinoite with an AMD GPU for the record.
I miss this anime, still the best Slice of Life I watched and overall one of my absolute favourites. It's been 2 years since Nonstop, might be time for a rewatch.
