Attention!! Novice here.

Just got my hands on this Motherboard for free:

https://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/eol/introduction.php?S_ID=774#overview

Was thinking of salvaging it and converting it to a NAS. I was planning to connnect two hdds and run TrueNas. It won`t get a lot of traffic and speed is not really a concern.

It only got two Sata connectors and one PCI-E 2.0 x1 Slot.

What would be the best and safest way to connect another drive for the OS?

Was thinking of converting it to a NAS. My plan is to connnect two 4TB hdds to it and run TrueNas. It won`t get a lot of traffic and speed is not really a concern.

But the problem is it only got two Sata connectors and one PCIE 2.0 x1 slot, so afaik no room for the OS.

What would be the best and safest way to connect another drive for the OS?
