If you haven't checked in years homestarrunner.com is pretty much fully functional again thanks to the Ruffle Project

I would happily award comments or posts with lemmy gold or whatever if it actually went to server costs and the like. But the enshittification of reddit and every other major platform has made me wary to spend any money on anything.

I vote Randall Monroe or Derek from Veritasium. Although I would not wish the nonsense that would come with being in a government cabinet position on either of them.

They say it shouldn't be legal. The first answer on the FAQ:

"Whats happening?

Cards Against Humanity is exploiting a legal loophole to pay America’s blue-leaning non-voters to (1) apologize for not voting last time, (2) walk us through a step-by-step plan of how they’d vote this time, and (3) post “Donald Trump is a human toilet” on social media. This whole thing should probably be illegal—so quick, give us your money before they change the law!"

The entire FAQ is worth a read, it's pretty funny

Just a joke from an insta account that does a lot of these kinds of posts. Just a joke so far...

Guys, homestarrunner literally works again thanks to something called the Ruffle Project (just from reading the website). Enjoy the vector graphics and Easter eggs again

You're right! I, too, would love if that 40% actually voted, AND we need ranked choice voting.

Consider disenfranchised voters may be more likely to vote if they can vote for a candidate they actually like without it being a waste.

We reallyyyy need ranked choice voting
