Legalising sex work is essential to sex workers' safety from pimps and trafficking. Every country has sex workers. The difference is whether those sex workers are protected by labour regulations.

I heard a story from a sex worker about women who are desperate to escape their home country, so they sign up for a shady "immigration" service. Turns out, it's a scam and the woman is now essentially a sex slave. She's in the country she wants to be in, but she's an indentured servant at best. The country where this is happening, being an "enlightened" western nation, busts up the sex trafficking and sends the woman back home. To the country she sold herself into sex slavery to escape. That's not justice. That's not helping women. And that's something that can even happen in a place where sex work is legal.

Well the whole theological basis is that Jesus is a perfect sacrifice who you can sacrifice in order to move your sins from yourself to him, and since he's perfect he can take on infinite sin from infinite ritual participants. And then you're sin free and allowed to go to heaven.

Install some phone games that you can play without sound or text. Antiyoy is a good pick. When you're bored and watching tv, do a sudoku puzzle. Put it down for action, pick it back up for boring dialogue.

The whole point of Jesus is that he's a blood sacrifice to redeem people's sins. He's an infinitely good being, so his sacrifice has infinite value. The idea is that anyone who accepts Jesus into their heart can sacrifice him atemporally and get their sins redeemed.

Netanyahu seems to be attempting a genocide of the Jewish people by forcing them all to worship Jesus, by committing crimes in their name of a magnitude that perhaps no earthly ritual can repent.

I'm sick of Kwin. I like the way it looks, but its focus stealing protection is broken. I like to tab out and read ebooks while my games are on loading screens. Some games decide to take focus while they're in the middle of a loading screen. That's why I configured Kwin with high focus stealing protection, and extreme on those particular games. Sadly, it doesn't work. There's no raising protection, and the "keep below other windows" rule is completely nonfunctional. Also, some of the Kwin maintainers are assholes.

I want to try a new window manager. One with strong focus stealing and raising protection. And I'm on NVIDIA, so no Wayland for me yet. Any recommendations?

Spot on representation of the original myth and its meaning. Not cashing in on brand names. Just making good art that happens to contain a native american myth. This is what art looks like when it comes from respectful engagement with a culture on its own terms, while also creating something new.

This comic takes place in an original fantasy setting, so it's not literally a... that thing, but thematically this is definitely one of those.
