I only got up to grade 10 RCM myself. I find that post grade... I think 7 or 8 the difficulty curve becomes exponential with every level after. It is a pipe dream of mine to complete the teacher's ARCT for real one day, so I still appreciate the suggestions! Thank you so much for talking shop with me!

Forgot to add, I have asked this question in the Buy Canadian channel, but the suggestions were too advanced for the types of students I teach.

 

Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone knew of a basic piano methods series? I have historically used Alfred and Faber series, but with everything going on, I was wondering if anyone knew of alternatives for me to try. Many thanks in advance!

Like I just replied to someone else, I did know about RCM! My only gripe is that it is not beginner friendly at all, and I was hoping for something even more basic than RCM Prep A. I find the students I seem to keep getting do not want to go through the accreditation process. But thanks so much for replying!
