Oh so you're just totally on board with the genocide and ethnic cleansing operation of 2 million people in Gaza now. Very cool and normal.

At the time he was responsible for the most drone strikes for any president (obviously this record was broken by the next admin). There's also a famous one where they struck a wedding in Yemen. You could argue not closing gitmo would be perpetuating existing war crimes when it was a campaign promise.

Israel's current existence is unironically anti-semetic. They benefit from it.

It's effectively the 51st state with plausible deniability and nukes. Going against the country that spends more on its military than the next 10 combined is a big factor keeping them in line.

38 US states already have anti-BDS laws on the books. Unfortunately this has already been here to a large extent.

This genocide has been one of the most awful things to bear witness to, but this murder in particular really fucked me up for a bit.

It's the billionaire business owners. They want you to have a false class solidarity with them given your pittance fraction of the market, while giving their own assets higher valuations.

You're getting screwed, don't get me wrong, but there's a reason why.

This is also a response from a place of powerlessness. You can't blame people for enjoying the tiniest fraction of schadenfreude when they're getting constantly fucked by this system.

Who were the people pushing for 401ks instead of pensions again?

China uses 1/3 of the energy per capita compared to the US. They have far more people.

They use a disproportionately large share of coal compared to other non renewables.

They use less energy per capita than the United States (about 1/3). And they both use close to the same amount proportionally of non renewable to renewables. (88% China, 81% US)

https://www.worldometers.info/energy/

So effectively the hand wringing about their current power consumption while they are making strides toward renewables is not productive.
