Well it's not a matter of just this guy, but also normal people who aren't criminals, extremists, or politicians. While still awful, it's one thing to use that info for profit by giving other companies access to it. It's another thing to make it accessible to just about anyone.

That said I don’t use Twitter so do people use it like a diary?

No point asking me, I never use Twitter either.

Wouldn't not tying it to Switch online be better for preserving it and increasing its longevity? And the game isn't that short. Rather than renewing the online subscription when I don't have time to make good use of it I prefer this.

Dude thinks he's a genius (he's not). This is the problem when you only look at the outcome of something without factoring what caused it (lots of luck including birth lottery and the effort and talent of people around him in this case).

The economy will be great again because some dumb country will sure to wage war for resources eventually in a selfish attempt to make things better for themselves short term while making everyone including themselves die even faster. And we all know how much America loves taking advantage of war to sell weapons!

I think it’s still better than Lemmy where many of the top posts are from several days ago, when it’s clear from Kbin there are enough content it doesn’t have to be like that.

Who’s gonna bet China is going to use this to bring back headlines of their propaganda from years ago about how covid-19 actually originated in the US?

And how is it logical to go straight to the mods instead of both asking the mods publicly (which doesn't broke any rules either and is polite) and seeing how the users in the community feel about it?

You have a very entitled and factually incorrect view of who has access to the internet.

People who don't spend one minute to (re)think it.

Many parts in Asia, including Japan (mentioning this specifically because it's probably the easiest to find if you want to try). They are pretty delicious.

This is how they usually look btw. You can usually find them with different kinds of sauces depending on the cuisine it comes from. The texture is like a more chewy cross between scallop and octopus.

What you said is the equivalence of putting all the eggs in one basket, which is a pretty silly use of the human resources available.

I don’t think it’s just that. Politics has seen the trend going right for a while now, and not just the US. When there are people in power saying they’ll do dumb shit that’s even dumber than before it’s bound to get more outrages. And even putting politics aside you’re getting corporates that are getting greedier and greedier, and serious problems that have been festering without sufficient effort to solve for years like climate change showing up with the consequence (and still not enough is being done). So, in general, we as a whole haven’t been doing enough to solve existing problems while making new ones. Problems just keep on piling and that’s what we are seeing.
