“They asked me if I knew the Krabby Patty Secret Formula. I said I had a Secret Krabby Formula for a patty. They said ahoy, matey!”
Cue The Onion publishing an article only to say there is nobody named “In The Jeffrey Epstein Trial” on the list
Reminder that Saudi Arabia has a whole-ass plan to actually surge and increase oil consumption. They also reached out to people during COP28 at the UAE for oil deals with other countries.
Climate Town has a really good video about how fucked the COP is becoming, apparently.
EDIT: I am double-stupid. Edited for accurate message.
Ideally, we’d be able to have a healthy mix of hotels either in or near city centers and short-term rentals for maybe tourist destinations that are away from the center, with a hard limit on how many AirBNBs and hotels can be existing at a time. The idea sounds nice on paper, at least.
Adam Something made a video on how awful AirBNBs are for locals, and the same concept applies to a lot of places where it’s mainly hotels in the area.
That’s why I just wear a condom all the time
I’m sorry, is this some sort of Northern/Southern Hemisphere joke I’m too close to the equator to understand?
The people who are actually facing discrimination from being non-heterosexual, being trans, and/or experiencing legitimate gender dysphoria the ones that we should be protecting. We shouldn’t be protecting uWu_bulgy_wulfy_xD because they identify as a wolf and they claim to have the same problems that trans or non-heterosexual people face.
EDIT: more gooder english and clarification
I freeze my shit so TSA is too distracted about me bringing my frozen water cooler bottle full of water.
AI is still probably years away from doing office jobs. Right now, it’s at best a tool to help experts out with their job - and even then, it still messes up from time-to-time.
I would argue that the only office job it can do right now is probably the role of CEO - but hell, it’s still far away from doing that.
Especially since they have that confirmation dialogue where they try to guilt-trip you every single time.
Adding on to this: I’d rather see the Fediverse not become just Reddit 2.0. I personally very much like the vibes and communities we already got going on already.
Isn’t that pretty much every RPG ever though? Almost all of them have illusion of choice and majority of the time, it doesn’t matter. I will agree with the constricting feeling of BG3, though for me that comes less from dialogue and more from the lack of build variety (which might just be me being really used to 3.5e and not 5e).
Funnily enough, the best game that shows reactivity to your choices isn’t even an RPG, it’s a very fancy CYOA - Detroit: Become Human.
