As you're already familiar with chrome try Vivaldi, it's built on a fork of the chrome engine so it will handle all Chrome's bits and pieces but it was created by Jon Stephenson von Tetzchner, who was one of the guys that built and founded Opera back in the day but jumped ship before it got sold out to a Chinese consortium, so not only does it come from the gold standard of pushing the browser envelope from Opera but also von Tetzchner's vehement stance on privacy which has always been a huge part of his ethos.

So if you're after a browser that comes stacked with features like speed dial, mouse gestures, password vault, collapsible side bar (so everything isn't mooshed into the top bar) to name just a few (I'd literally be typing all day otherwise), as well as an iron clad focus on privacy that isn't just for show (have a look into von Tetzchner and read some of his blogs and you'll see) then I highly recommend Vivaldi.

I'm new to this PT game, just installed Jellyfin then started digging into the arr-verse and installed Jackett and Sonarr to populate Jellyfin with all the old shows that aren't shown anymore, found SG-1 and The Lost Room without too much trouble but Sonarr is having problems with Warehouse 13 at the moment.

So with r/opensignups gone, what's another way to know when PT's are offering sign ups?

So sad EA axed Titanfall 3, Respawn started making it but EA bought them out and demanded they make it a battle royale which they didn't want to do so EA just axed it instead. Iirc of course, don't quote me on it but I'm pretty sure this is how it went down.

Try Vivaldi browser, it's old school Opera with a Chrome dress on. So you get the benefits of Chrome with the focus on privacy and innovation of old school Opera.

(Replied to the wrong comment but you get the gist.)

I tried to play Deathloop not long after launch and I enjoyed it, the humor was a big selling point, but it was a buggy mess. I tried so many different iterations but no matter what I tried it always crashed near the end of the third area, I can't think of any other game I've tried that has been so comprehensively bricked. In saying that if they've managed to patch the gaping holes I'd like to try it again.

I'm no "normie" but Linux is so damned ass backwards my brain just can't cope, some of the times I was unsure if I was asking the OS to change directory or summon Moloch to bring a thousand years of darkness to the world.

I'm pretty sure it alreacy has it, check the settings. (Just checked it's in Settings->[Username] Settings->Show Read Posts)

Mark read on scroll though is the setting I'm waiting for but will probably have to wait for Boost that will no doubt have all those kind of more advanced settings like it did for reddit.

I was wondering why cannabis was so high but this makes sense, it's not the ill effects the plant has (which should put it down with nitrous and hallucinogens) but what the state will do to you for possessing the plant that causes the most harm, which is a pretty clear statement that our policy settings are way off.

There was that windscreen that cracked a while ago too, AirNZ is obviously just discovering that taking an axe to it's support and maintenance staff to get another yaucht in the marina probably wasn't the best idea.

I feel it's a really good rule of thumb to just not click any links, especially if they're texted. I can't think of the last time an organization texted me a direct link, MSD and IRD usually send you a text telling you to check your account for instance, so I feel it's much better to er on the side of caution and ignore them all.

Emails are a bit trickier but most organizations generally use letterheads and footers to identify themselves pretty plainly, but if I'm ever in doubt I'll again er on the side of caution again and either ring them or go straight to the website rather than touch a link.
