In a way Trump's vote stayed flat too. He didn't get that many votes more than last time. Meaning he does have a hard ceiling. Problem was that Harris received less votes in certain segments than Biden, mostly men.

Join the crowd ladies. Their hate is very wide.

He's got until Monday to give up his assets by order of a federal judge. If he doesn't, he'll be held in contempt.

People think of farmers as something Grant Wood would paint. It's not like that as much anymore. Big corporations control those guys.

It's basically unheard of to order a Fed Chair to resign. Trump might as well ask all the Democratic appointees on SCOTUS to resign. Difference is, Powell is due to leave in May 2026, and Trump would be really stupid to try and force an early departure. Just end up with egg on his face. It will be Trump’s to loot in 2026 in any case,

If Latinos and others Democratic voters who wanted to sit on their fucking hands or vote for Trump, they can go cry to someone else when Homeland Security knocks on their door looking for their undocumented relatives (or any of the legal citizens that get swept up by mistake).

When Trump and Netanyahu turn Gaza into glass, the Michigan voters who thought they wanted to punish Democrats can go to someone else to worry about getting the broom to sweep it up.

Elections have consequences.

We warned you of the consequences. REPEATEDLY! And now you get to live with them until next time

The American people wanted anger and drama, and now they're going to get it,

I have a friend. His mother is an undocumented immigrant. He admitted today that he voted for Trump due to concerns about inflation.

I just don't even know what to say anymore: he's college educated, but he still thinks Trump wasn't talking about his mom.

The Supreme Court will be changed for a generation. I’ll never see a moderate court again in my lifetime. Alito and Thomas will step down and Trump will appoint 40 year old partisans to the bench. The damage he is about to inflict on our institutions the next 2 years will be irreparable.

“Oh, JD Vance, You just effed up in a way that I’ve never seen in my political life. And I worked for Sarah Palin.”

"I have often predicted against my own preferences; history does not lie. I just have a feeling she will catch up here, but I also believe – and please remember this – it will not be clear who won on Election Night here, so block out the nattering nabobs of election denialism. It’s going to be very, very close.”

"The poll shows that women — particularly those who are older or are politically independent — are driving the late shift toward Harris.”
