The instance defederated from over concern of CSAM. I guess there was also some drama over that decision from both users, but also the defederated instance itself. Not going into it any deeper. Anyone that is more familiar with that might. Although this was about 2 years ago when it occurred. I wasn't there at the time.
No one is saying that your voice doesn't risk getting silenced on Lemmy. If they are saying that, it isn't true. Anyone risks getting censored anywhere they go on the web. (If it's your own hosted server however..)
If you join a Lemmy instance server with your rule style, then you can post on their communities and not have as high a risk of getting banned. Once you venture onto communities hosted on other instances.
Since things are federated, things may get dicey for you depending on what you might decide to post, and on the rules of the other instances. (and the communities.)
There are rules and guidelines everywhere you go, and they re always changing when you go onto other servers and communities.

On the desktop site, the links actually generate a video, on the Lemmy post so you don't actually have to click on the links to see most of the content. (Except maybe for the entire video description, and info on the uploader.)
Trans people, typically face a lot of social isolation, from family, so called friends, and colleagues. This can lead to isolation.
They also receive a lot of discrimination, through harassment, hat speech, even physically abuse.
In legal scenarios, trans people have to flip a coin and to hope that a government would protect their right to exist. In Russia for example, unlike in the u.s, is there really even much chance of voting off certain anti LGBTQ+ laws of the citizens?
My stance
I believe that trans gender people should have equal opportunities that everyone else has. No exceptions to that period. (in terms of, saying that trans gendered people should nott be missing out any essential rights that everyone else currently has and may get in the future.) Honestly, the only people that find trans people in public bathrooms offensive, are either transphobic,alt right, show/act Nazi/fascist like traits and possibly more. But mostly transphobic.
If a person was trans, and they weren't having a good day, I would offer them to go out and eat, or something nice, at least try to to spark a nice and supporting conversation for who they are, they likely have had enough transphobia in society and law, every supportive action means something to them.
Your stance
Comments section, what are your views on transgenders, and their rights. I want to hear from anyone, even if you are trans yourself. Every voice that comments, that is meaningful with good intentions and supportive of trans rights matters.
disclaimer: If a user that comments is anti trans, or displays transphobia I am not interested in the transphobia. So if anyone comments something that spreads transphobia, know that I (op) do not support that. Didn't ask for anything but for the supporting voices of trans rights, and support for trans gender people.

Predator catching channels are important. Should not be censored. Just cause a few channel might had been acting fascist like towards minorities with intention to degrade trans people. Which from many of the channels I seen, they seem to be strictly going after adults going after minors on the internet. If any are intentionally going after just trans people or other minorities just because, they use it as an excuse to harass it's rare.
Are there even any actual specific channels and videos that even point out that something like this is even happening in these predator catching movements?
I will meet you some of you here. If they are not working with law enforcement and are just harassing people, that is not ok. I'm against this narative that's going against predator catching channels as a whole because it is so out of touch with reality. Instead of calling a whole movement violent, call out the 'specific" offending channel. If you can't do that, what does that say about your narative.
Anyone that thinks that they should all* be censored, get ready to censor gaming channels and played heavily while you're at it. Plenty of gamers online said some rascist, and homophobic things. I'm not changing my mind on this.
