It's a small enough number you think they could have just said exactly how many there were.

Fewer than 10 ... So, 9? 8, perhaps? Surely not 7!

So the developers claim, but the users still encounter it, and the bug report stays open for 22 years ... possibly more.

I don't get why people like the microblig format. It's so terrible for anything more than snarky quips.

The article states that the money has been put up, then it talk a lot about "Historically Black Colleges and Universities" but doesn't actually state that the money is going to those universities.

In fact, it states that the money is going to the CHIPS program of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and then also states that HBCUs have their program called CHIPS.

The article is misleading and a bit confusing and makes it seem like the money is going to HBCUs when in fact it is going to NIST.

I recently unlocked a bunch of premium features in my car. HD radio, comfort window roll down (rolls down 2" with a tap") auto tailgate close (had auto open, but not close, had to hit a button on the lid to close), auto side mirror tilt down in reverse, roll down windows from keyless entry, close tailgate from keyless entry.

Those "features" are all so pointless they're bordering on absurd.

Thanks for reaffirming my bias that new cars suck.

Freecad sucks. I use it exclusively and it sucks.

But it's the only foss option and the only Linux option.

It was highly discouraged to not love your place in life.

The rich are still trying to tell the rest of us that shit.

Anyone who has ever struggled with depression knows get happy advice is all bullshit.

Yes there's things we can do to help improve our mood. But improving your mood and being made happy are two very different things. A distinction nobody seems to understand.

Linux has been able to handle that since the 90s.
