Interessant ist jedoch dass das zumindest in meiner Bubble nur in den Medien stattfindet. Sonst ist eigentlich jeder der (kurzgefassten) Meinung: Hamas > Terroristen und Abschaum. Jedoch -> kein Freifahrtschein für Israel um Völkermord und Kriegsverbrechen zu begehen. Wie ist das in euren Bubbles?

In jedem Beruf in dem man seine Bubble verlässt, bemerkt man wie doof die Menschen sind. Ich bin Arzt und freue mich über geistig adäquate Patienten die sich wirklich für ihre Krankheit interessieren und aktiv an der Behandlung teilnehmen. Der Großteil nickt unreflektiert ab was ich sage und führt das im besten Fall durch. Häufig aber auch nicht, das Problem wurde im Krankenhaus ja erstmal behoben. Der nächste Besuch ist vorprogrammiert. Ich erwarte da im politischen Denken dieser Menschen nicht mehr als Stammtischparolen. (Die ich auch oft genug zu hören bekomme)

Ich arbeite als Arzt in einem ländlichen Krankenhaus. Seit dieser Woche fängt das rumhusten und die Krankheitsausfälle in der Pflege an. Die für meine Patienten zuständige Pflegekraft war dann gestern auch sehr angeschlagen. Als ich sie deshalb schräg angeschaut hatte hieß es nur: "Wenn es dich stört, dann zieh halt ne Maske an". Ich habe dass dann mal neutral, anonym (also ohne die Person zu nennen) bei der Stationsleitung angesprochen. Es war ihr recht egal. Hat natürlich so getan als würde sie es ansprechen. Wie man sieht: Selbst in manchen Krankenhäusern fehlt es von einigen Menschen an gesundem Menschenverstand, dass möglicherweise der erkrankte eine Maske aufsetzen könnte um alle anderen um sich herum zu schützen. Der Patientenschutz und der der Kollegen (Pflegenotstand, Krankheitsausfälle und dann Infektionsketten ignorieren, am gleichen Tag haben alle gestöhnt dass am WE viele krankheitsbedingt fehlen. Überraschung! ) steht hier klar hinter dem persönlichen Komfort.

Und Offtopic: Ich bin von einem Maximalversorger in eine eine ländliche Klinik gewechselt. So langsam bin ich auch für eine Krankenhausreform wie von Lauterbach geplant. Ich sehe in der Zentralisierung deutliche Vorteile für Patient und Personal.

Ich werde diese Woche wahrscheinlich auf 80 Stunden kommen. Augen auf bei der Berufswahl. (3x24h Dienst + ein voller Tag, gerechnet von Donnerstag bis Donnerstag)

I agree with Hummelgaard. Those "protests" are used to create hatred. Even though it is also for me not comprehensible how people can be so sensitive about this, we all know the reaction it provokes. And even though we don't agree and comprehend those feelings, we can still respect those feelings and just not senselessly create disruption. And hey.... You can still burn as many Qurans in your private oven as you want.

Vl eine regionale Sache, aber Zahnarzt ist bei mir überhaupt kein Problem.

I am a doctor and I am sure that ChatGPT will answer better than me. I am also very supportive for AI being a support for me as a professional. I am working in internal medicine, and things change and progress all the time. I am not able to know as much as a machine does. The difference between an AI and a doctor will be the decisions made based on this information. Every action I do or do not do has consequences. You think any AI producer will take any responsibility? As a doctor I am always standing in prison with one foot.

And also any diagnostic & therapeutic procedures can not be taken out of my hand by an AI. It cant resuscitate a person. But I wouldnt mind assistance. Robotics have to come a loooong way before this is going to happen.

And to be clear: I am not talking about ChatGPT as the tool. Someone has to train an AI specifically on precise medical datasets, to give me hints about possible issues with e.g. lab data I don't recognize, because it is maybe specific for some rare disease I didnt have any encounter with beforehand.

Fun fact: I have some foreign colleagues who use ChatGPT to get the base for their patient reports. They give very short(and non personal!) instructions, a nice text pops out, they add in the details. Voila. Their report is better than mine as a native.
