He convinced his doctor to "wait a couple days to inform" him so he could give a few days notice. This was less than a week into his new promotion, too.

Now he spends his days trapping for muskrat (big problem for farmers in the area) and ~~sells the furs for supplemental income because disability pays shit~~ has hobbies.

He seemed to be doing okay last time I spoke to him. Just a little bored when he can't get outside.

And even if you DO post in small communities, half the time it's a toss-up as to whether anyone will see it.

I'm not sure about lemmy, but reddit was roughly 50% US users, so it was a good bet that if you timed posts for "early morning" US browsing or "after work" EU browsing, your post would do well.

Idk lemmy's demographic breakdown, but it seems more generalized (imagine that, a diverse fediverse!) around the world, so it's hard for me to tell when the most users will be active.

Thanks to how history is being recorded, there's no chance that he will be forgotten until civilization collapses.

I wouldn't want history to actually forget any shitty person (or good person) because that makes it way easier for someone with similar ideals to take power again.

It's more the sentiment.

I have a metaphorical bucket of piss just for Margaret Thatcher. ^26+6=1^

It's a simple case of "if we hold this, the opposition will have no issue ordering their soldiers to blow it to shit and causing a major disaster that will affect countless people for generations to come" vs "Eh. You go ahead and 'hold' it for us. We will be back when you run away trying to catch up to your retreating front line

Indeed, they made plenty of mistakes, otherwise they would have won the war.

But it's less about whether they could have sustained their empire afterward and more people trying to say that portraying them as such is "glorifying" them or propping them up in some sort of idealistic way.

Fixed headline: "Price Gougers in an industry famous for Price Gouging and collaborative price-fixing seizes opportunity to Price Gouge and blame someone else"

That's a little wordy though...

Red = ded

If you don't want ded, make sure no red.

It, along with anything high capacity and rapid firing, are perfectly designed for filling long narrow corridors with hot lead in a short amount of time.

Shotguns were just easier to carry. Still are, mostly.

To be fair, history is filled with people calling shotguns unfair for one thing or another. Like the punt guns that would take out entire flocks of waterfowl at a time...

That could mean that the already content players are still happy with their game, and the vocal haters don't have enough to hate on that doesn't sound petty.

I say that as someone who has not played CS2 and plays 1 heavily modded... So the fuck do I know
