...Awful?

It's so fitting and poetic that, just when I finally start getting my life in order, the world throws itself off a cliff.

Oh my god, tell me about it.

Even when you want to rent a place and can afford to do so, landlords make the situation really difficult because many of them put up places supposedly for rent, but make it as difficult as possible for someone to actually qualify to rent it, since they're only doing it to inflate their net worth and having someone living there apparently devalues it. It took me over a year to find a place that actually was willing to let me rent it because most others would cook up bullshit reasons to reject me (my personal favourite being one that got mad at me and put me in their blacklist for... asking too many questions about their property???).

Like... I have money. They are offering a good in exchange for money. I am willing to spend money in exchange for this good. It shouldn't be this hard.

That is very considerate of Windows 95, I could get used to this.

I wouldn't be so sure. Back in 2018 when Bolsonaro (also a very extreme fascist) was running for president in Brazil, someone also attempted to kill him and very nearly succeeded, and it's pretty much agreed that the failed assassination attempt gave him a massive poll boost and helped him win. I personally had the unfortunate experience of dealing with people here who were previously undecided but afterward decided to vote for Bolsonaro because they saw him as a vicitm trying to be silenced.

Considering how US elections are severely lopsided to depend on a couple handful of states that demographically generally aren't affected by the risks of fascism and therefore generally see American elections as a harmless sport, there's a very real possibility they'll see Trump as a "martyr" trying to be silenced and throw their vote behind him.

It also seriously doesn't help that Biden's just been making far too many gaffes while Trump came off like a "defiant strongman" over this. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm extremely pessimistic about this being anything but a massive win for Trump.

God, I feel this in my bones. I always hated the scumbags who acted this way so much. I'm really glad I'm not the only one...

I use CoreCtrl to fix my GPU's atrocious fan curve, which is a necessity since normally it overheats to high hell. With CoreCtrl, I have a nice fan curve that makes my GPU rarely, if ever, run hotter than 70°C.

I just hope the Citra forks won't be targeted. Citra was only killed as collateral damage, but I still can't help but be nervous anyway...

I still like them, honestly...

21°C/70°F is a normal winter temperature where I'm from in the southern hemisphere 🥲

And right now it's summer... let's put it this way, lately it's been over 40°C/104°F for so many weeks in a row that, when temperatures dipped to 33°C/91°F, it felt cold... and to think it's only going to get worse going forward @_@
