It's bad for the animals? Which ones, the ones we eat? Yes dying is quite bad for you. Meat is not bad for us, I guess it is bad for the planet but that is more of a overpopulation problem than meat problem.
Seriously, I'm so sick of all the porn communities showing up in my feed. I block them and more keep popping up on my feed. It's like a game of whac a mole, I don't want to see your butt hole Lisa.
Maybe I am too optimistic for my own good lol, but I honestly just think they developed this as fast as they could when they saw the writing on the wall about Twitter. Threads IS Instagram, it was easier and faster to develop this way instead of starting from scratch. That's why deleting one would delete the other.
Edit: I just wanted to clarify I am in no way defending Meta and I don't even have an Instagram account. It's just the way I see it but I admit I can be wrong about this. We'll see what happens in the coming months/years.
People are overreacting. It is linked to your Instagram account, so it makes sense. You can still deactivate your Threads account if you don't want to use it but want to keep Instagram.
Me too. I'm betting on Threads being the last nail in the coffin for Twitter. My second bet and extremely unpopular opinion is that Threads will be a good thing for Mastodon.
I do not have an Instagram account and will not be joining Threads either, but i am cautiously optimistic.
I still can't see any tweets without logging in.
As much as I hate Meta, nothing is worse than Twitter under Musk. I'm hoping it does kill twitter... Doesn't take much to end twitter right now tbh.
This is the best part. Reddit had nice moments like this, back in the day. Now get off my lawn!
We did it, Reddit!
Jack Frost deserves better </3
Edit: Unless he's a Nazi.
I barely use Reddit since Bacon Reader has been offline. The official Reddit app is garbage. I'm enjoying using Lemmy with the Connect app, but I wish the Bacon Reader team would create an app for Lemmy.
OP made a mistake, they're just going to wander endlessly in the hallways until sunrise.
