They should update the Chrome extension to tell people to download Firefox instead
I'd sooner see a real meth cook react to Breaking Bad
Hell I like you. You can come over to my house and fuck my sister
Didn't the people of Paris vote in favour for charging triple car parking chargers for SUV's? I'd like to see this more.
SUV sales have been crazy the last few years in the UK (I assume the rest of the EU too given every manufacturer starting making many different models of SUV's). They stopped making people carriers in favour for SUV's :(
That's always been my argument. Updates for the OS or even apps in Google Play should be presented immediately if the user is doing a manual check for updates. Sure, continue the staged rollouts, but only for those who are updating automatically.
The check for updates button has been working fine for a few years now but as of this month my Pixel 8 is still on the November patch. My wife's Pixel 6 is on the December patch after I did a manual check on her phone. Frustrating.
I turned it off the first time I was asked. Something on my phone opened in Chrome, rather than Firefox, and this came up again with a different question. I was pretty sure I said no but wasn't convinced that what I had chosen was doing what I asked. Sure enough diving into settings it was enabled.
I've loved Chrome for years but this is bullshit. Firefox isn't perfect but I love that I can use uBlock Origin. Fuck Chrome.
Personally, the Pixel 5 was the perfect size and weight for a phone.
No bulky cameras. No thick chassis. No glass adding pointless weight. Very usable as a one handed device. Symmetrical bezels.
Edge/Windows is literally the technological equivalent of an obsessive ex-girlfriend.
I'm out of the loop. What am I looking at?
Edit
So the original post has finally updated with an explanation. I'm an Android user so that icon doesn't mean anything to me.
It was in the early days of the Apple App Store. Games were 59p to buy. No in-app purchases and were generally good indie titles. "Helsing's Fire" comes to mind. Miss that game!
