Maybe something like this? https://huggingface.co/ https://huggingface.co/chat/

The model seems to be based on the Llama model (but not only, there seem to be multiple models). Tho I didn't really look into it on how they get their database. It also has more hallucinations than chatgpt.

It'd the nvidia x panel or whatever. It's pretty empty compared to windows.

There was a bug where save files were not saved anywhere, even on the pc, after too many choices. It got patched, but steam sync seemed to be the issue.

I don't know about the privacy in UK, but privacy on Lemmy is... Pretty much inexistent.

Tho maybe the email Adresses could maybe be stored privately somehow.

My instance compuverse.uk runs most of the time. Tho the servers are not giant, and there was already an issue where the storage filled up completely before an upgrade had to be made.

Tho now it would be running on a separate storage dedicated server which may allow for more storage.

Also the rules on this instance makes it pretty much compatible with every other instance and so would avoid the defederation by other instances. (please just don't put porn or gore in the all).

Also asklemmy is not for support. !lemmy_support@lemmy.ml is a support for Lemmy.

If you are using an app, you would want to search for a community on your app.

Finding the report button wasn't hard. Sending it was. It took like 30 seconds+ of loading to send it.

On my instance, the owner said that just the cached text content is something like 25GB.

So it's very storage intensive as it seems Lemmy doesn't delete the cached content.

https://newatlas.com/energy/rmit-proton-battery-energy-density/

Proton battery is in reference to hydrogen having a single proton, so proton battery.

Well companies could still be liches. If what they are building around your software isn't a direct derivative (which it will most likely not be), then companies will still be able to publish their closed source work, while mentioning your open source software (if they even need to).

They benefit from your code and give nothing in return.

This can also be true if the companies use your software without redistributing it. They will just use your software and never give anything back.

Very interesting. But also very complex.

In a very badly and short as possible way, they are very complex probabilities machines, which can compare the probability of each words in your sentence to chose the words to say to you.

There is also Kyle Hill who explained how Chatgpt works in a video https://youtu.be/-4Oso9-9KTQ

however from what I remember I think the article has more info on how the tool manages to reduce confusion and history on the evolution with gpt 1, 2 and 3.

But what helped me understand easier was the video, even if it doesn't describe every thing to the tiniest detail.

I would trust a for profit company even less than the government.

It doesn't support it natively. Fairphone uses /e/os and because it uses microg, android auto doesn't work directly.

From this thread, there would maybe be a solution, one answer directs to an xda developer post with magisk : https://community.e.foundation/t/android-auto-with-magisk/47472

However it needs some tinkering, and it may not be the easiest thing to do.
