Moin, morgen brav wählen gehen und ich habe viel Kritik bezüglich Volts Tendenzen zum Neoliberalismus aka FDP-Denkweise hier auf Feddit gelesen. Oh, I'm that aunt. My family sucks. But my niece contacted me yesterday since I'm moving to where I grew up. I know my fam is a bunch of asshats and she asked me if I could take her to a concert. My idiot sister would not allow her to go. I asked my niece which bands she would you like to see and immediately booked 4 tickets for those and another 2 for Moon Hooch. Fuck people who don't allow you listening to music.

Hi, I'm considering getting into Stargate. I only know it's based on a movie and the franchise consists of 3 tv shows. I don't know anything about the setting / plot.

I'm a massive Star Trek and Babylon 5 geek. I don't know if Stargate is for me, though and I don't want to invest many hours before I might find it's not for me.

Maybe you people here can provide some info about the plot, pros & cons of the franchise and explain to me what got you hooked.

Looking forward to your replies.

PS: I don't live under a rock, but somehow I managed to dodge everything about the franchise.

PSS: would I start with the movie and then SG-1? Are there other critical things to know?

I used a different app (Voyager) before switching to Boost. I like it a lot but for reasons beyond me, Boost does not play GIFs (in the comment sections). It's always just a frozen frane picture for me. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!
